the nest bed has been designed to make cleaning easy. the outer recycled teddy bouclé cover is machine washable, and easily removed for cleaning using the hidden ykk zipper. the inner bed is further protected by a second cover that is waterproof, meaning that any accidents, moisture, or mess won't damage the bed.

the nest bed currently comes in two sizes, small and medium, with an expanded size range coming later in the year.

cleaning & care

the nest bed has been designed to make keeping it clean super easy! any small marks can be spot cleaned and excess hair can be easily removed using a lint roller.

for a more thorough clean, the teddy bouclé cover can be removed and is machine washable. wash on a mild-medium temperature without harsh chemicals, then hang to dry.

the inside foam is protected by a further waterproof cover, and should not be washed, but you can wipe it down with a damp cloth if you wish.

frequently asked questions

i just received the nest bed, why is the box so small?

your nest bed will be shipped to you vacuum sealed. this makes the parcel extremely compact and reduces the environmental impact of shipping it. there is no assembly required, simply remove your nest bed from the packaging and give it a few days to fully inflate (your pet can start using it right away and this won't affect the process) - the vacuum sealing process causes the bed to appear a bit flat, but it will bounce back to its full size (as in the product images) very quickly!

is it suitable for destructive pets?

the nest bed is durable, and can withstand heavy daily usage. the teddy bouclé looped yarn tends to hold up well against light cat scratching/kneading and dog digging, jumping, rolling etc., but... it isn't indestructible.

if you have a dog that tends to be destructive with their beds, we suggest you monitor them for a while with their new bed, perhaps reinforcing them with treats and praise when they settle. dogs that are habitual bed destroyers tend to need a bit of time, positive reinforcement, and your help to differentiate between toys to rough-house with, and their bed!

i ordered the wrong size, can i return the bed?

if the bed is still fully vacuum sealed, it can be returned - however we are unable to accept returns on beds that have been opened as they cannot be repackaged once the vacuum seal has been opened. please ensure you refer to the size guide before purchasing, or you can contact us here if you need further assistance in choosing a size.
